Faith-Based Learning Integration

Every single lesson began with devotion and Scripture. Every experiment pointed back to the Creator.

Families choose the faith-based version of SmartHead’s curriculum, where NGSS and CCSS standards are woven with Biblical truth.

Q1 · Water & Sound
“The voice of the Lord is over the waters”
— Psalm 29:3
Q2 · Air & Movement
“The Spirit of God has made me, and the breath of the Almighty gives me life”
— Job 33:4
Q3 · Earth & Life
“The Lord God formed man from the dust of the ground”
— Genesis 2:7
Q4 · Fire & Legacy
“You are the light of the world”
— Matthew 5:14

Daily Exit Tickets — Student Voice Every Day

Every day ended with Julianna completing her own exit ticket — a personalized reflection form designed for her age and level.

The result? Daily feedback that shaped the next day’s learning. When the kids said they wanted to cook, the curriculum adapted.

One Plan, Two Levels — Personalized for Each Child

Julianna (Grade 1) and her brother Vinzent (Grade 3) worked on the same weekly theme — but with leveled activities designed for each child’s skill level.

Julianna · Grade 1
Count minutes until colors meet. Record 1-2-3 ticks on a chart.
Color blue paths for rivers and draw fish and boats
Count how many rocks the water moved
Count how many drops reach bottom first
Count ripples when mirror is still vs. when water moves
Vinzent · Grade 3
Measure water height in cm. Make a bar graph of color levels.
Calculate map scale distance (1 cm = 10 km)
Measure river length & width in cm; compute area (L x W)
Measure angle of paper; time each drop. Speed = distance / time.
Measure distance between ripple rings (mm) → graph spacing

Major Projects & Growth
