Built 3-bin composting station for the neighborhood. Tracked decomposition rates and temperatures over 6 weeks. Documented process and shared lessons with 12 families in the community.
Tested 3 different sugar concentrations on yeast activity. Measured rise height, tracked fermentation time, and baked 3 loaves. Connected fermentation to cellular respiration and decomposition science.
Collected and labeled 15 native seed varieties. Created detailed care instruction cards for each type. Researched native vs invasive species and shared resources with neighbors.
Hand-painted 12 organisms connected by energy flow arrows. Identified producers, consumers, and decomposers. Showed how breaking one link affects the whole system.
