Vinzent (Grade 3) and his sister Julianna (Grade 1) worked on the same weekly theme — but with leveled activities designed for each child.
Built 6 museum-quality dioramas exploring natural disasters and environmental impact. Tsunami, volcano, tornado, cityscape, and more.
Designed and tested structural concepts using LEGO bases, documenting engineering drawings before building. Applied the scientific method.
When the kids said on their exit tickets that they wanted to cook, the curriculum adapted. Cooking became math, science, and cultural heritage combined.
Every weekly theme was anchored in Scripture. When Vinzent studied how water moves, he read Psalm 29. When he built bridges, he reflected on Psalm 127.
Completed Grade 3 AND Grade 4 extension work on the same unified plan. All state standards met. Worked alongside his sister with leveled differentiation.
